You don’t need to be a private investigator and owner of the Octopus investigative agency to understand that on 13 July the The Secret Service’s close protection on Trump has resoundingly failed.

One aspect of the story that makes me sad is the fact that I don't have found a shred of article in the mass media
about the poor devil killed by one of the shots
directed at Donald Trump.

You don’t need to be a private investigator and owner of the Octopus detective agency, which has been dealing with crime prevention since 1988, to understand that the U.S. Secret Service on the evening of July 13, 2024 with Donald Trump badly failed. Watching the video of Thomas Matthew Crooks’ attempt to kill Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, it seems clear that the men assigned to close protect on the tycoon were sleeping on their feet and that by pure chance Trump was only injured in the right ear. Not to mention the numerous reports made by citizens to the police before the shots, of a strange guy who was prowling the rooftops with his Armalite AR-15 rifle looking for a “clean shot” on the ex-president at the meeting.

May be in the United States no one pays attention to an assault rifle anymore. A friend of mine former Californian policeman, who is now a private investigator, always used a submachine gun when he was on duty, because he said that guns had gone out of fashion and everyone, including criminals, preferred assault rifles.

One aspect of the story that saddened me a little is the fact that the mass media were late in remembering the only true hero of the story, who was killed by one of the shots fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks. Because the attacker, before being neutralized, managed to shoot several times, killing a spectator at the speech and seriously wounding two others. For hours, all journalists ignored the only real victim of July 13, 2024; they were too busy describing the attacker, criticizing the Secret Service, repeating “where will we end up”; or secretly gloating about Donald Trump. Yes, because the tycoon, already widely favored by the commercials self-produced by ‘sleepy’ Joe Biden, could not wish for a better electoral commercial for his presidential campaign.

The hero of the attack on Trump is the Italian-American Corey Comperatore, former chief of the Buffalo Township Fire Department. He died protecting his wife and daughter from Crooks’ shots with his body.

Even if the left wings are the same all over the world and always similar to themselves since the fall of communism in the West: they are convinced that they have a moral superiority all over the others who think differently. They attempted to bring down Trump through the courts, following, among other things, the example of the already seen useless bunga-bunga trial against Silvio Berlusconi. They attributed to the tycoon the responsibility for the assault on Congress by four rowdies of an intellectual level equal to Crooks. Now I’m curious to see if they will do a bit of self-criticism for the hatred they teach to the minus habens by demonizing their political opponents. To his credit, Joe Biden intervened promptly, waking abruptly from his senile naps and delivering a national unity speech from the Roosevelt Room of the White House.

On the other hand, as a private criminal investigator and owner of the Octopus detective agency, it doesn’t look to me that twenty-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was a political extremist; Crooks appears to have been a rather confused young man: he was registered among Republican voters, but also among donors in favor of Democratic fringes (you know what an effort: 15 dollars in 2020 to Progressive Turnout Project).

The only sure thing, as can be seen from his videos, is that at one point he started hating Trump. On the other hand, we could say that all of American history was partly written by presidential assassins.

Butler’s attack on Trump is somehow reminiscent of the attack in the Duomo in Milan suffered by Silvio Berlusconi on 13 December 2009, even if this local episode was much less dramatic.

At the time I had my Octopus detective agency in Milan and, like today, I thought that the security service, managed by a fellow private investigator (if I remember correctly), had been completely inefficient. The Milanese attack was also perpetrated by a person with obvious personal problems and was minimized by Berlusconi himself. Then with Silvio Berlusconi as well as today with Donald Trump, I think there would be dishonest and fierce exploitation if the attacks had been perpetrated against left-wing politicians.
